Design collective ‘Daily Gems’ at OBJECT Rotterdam 12-14 Feb 2016
Dutch design studios Lilesadi and Siebring & Zoetmulder are presenting their collection at OBJECT Rotterdam.
OBJECT is thé fair for contemporary design and will be held February 12-14 2016 in the impressive cruise ship SS Rotterdam.
Both studios continually seek collaborations with other brands and designers and create custom designs for individual projects.
A delicate universe with a minimalistic touch. That’s the atmosphere Lile Sadi and Siebring & Zoetmulder create with ‘Daily Gems’. The graphic patterns and soft colours of the collection of LileSadi harmonise with the raw and light aspect of the proportions and materialisation of Siebring & Zoetmulder.
“We combine the best of both worlds. Creating a design with a multi disciplinary background, we believe through collaborating and focusing on our individual skill sets we can create better and more in-depth design”.
Their first collaborative product, the ‘Daily Gems’ cabinet is not only a functional organiser, but also a playground for aesthetic compositions of materials, structures and shapes. Suddenly daily artifacts become part of what looks like a classical Dutch still life painting, the concept that gives roots to the name ‘Daily Gems’.
